Barcelona have tabled a bid of over £55 million for Chelsea and Brazil winger Willian as they look to beef up their squad ahead of the upcoming season.
After being heavily linked with Manchester United in the past with Jose Mourinho a keen admirer, Barcelona are now firm favourites to land the Chelsea star.
The Spanish giants have already seen two bids within the range of £50 million turned down by the Blues and have offered more in an attempt to lure the Brazilian away from West London.
Willian who had an underwhelming world cup campaign with Brazil as they exited the world cup at the quarter-finals seems to desire a move away from the Blues but it remains to be seen if new Head coach Maurizio Sarri can convince him to stay.
Willian was pivotal for Chelsea last season with six goals in thirty-six premier league appearances as they lifted the English FA cup and his superb performance against Barcelona in the champions league must have been the perfect audition to incite a transfer move to the Spanish side.
