Loris Karius has decided to put an end to his bleak future at Anfield after deciding to move to Istanbul to join Besiktas.
The Former Liverpool number one made two awful mistakes against Real Madrid in last year Champions League Final as they missed out on the trophy.
Klopp’s decision to get Alisson from Roma for £65million must have unsettled the keeper and he had since decided not to remain a bench warmer.
Dailymail noted that “Klopp has a strong relationship with Karius and wanted the 24-year-old, whom he signed from Mainz for £5million in the summer of 2016, to be a success in the Premier League.
“But it was agreed after the pair spoke that it would be in Karius’ best interest to secure a move before the European deadline, as Alisson is going to be in goal for all of Liverpool’s big games this season, both at home and in Europe.”
“The indications are that he will leave for Istanbul in the next 24 hours and Besiktas will have the option to turn the loan into a permanent move.
“Should Karius leave, the spin off will be that Mignolet – who had also been considering his future – will remain on Merseyside.
