Paul Pogba Not Leaving Manchester United In  January

Paul Pogba has agreed that he will not push for his transfer to Barcelona or Juventus in January amid interest from both clubs.

Pogba whose relationship with Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has strained over recent months had been courted by Barcelona as the World Cup winning star’s agent Mino Raiola tried to engineer a move from Old Trafford.

The midfielder has been handed the Captain band and it seems he had settled his difference with Jose Mourinho. Luis Suarez has tried to lure Pogba to Camp Nou.

‘Pogba’s an elite player who’s won everything. He has a lot of quality and he’s one of the references at United,’ said Suarez.

‘I think he would like to be competing for more than he is at the moment. He’s not a player that belongs to Barca, but he would always be welcome.’

Gerard Pique also offered his opinion on the situation. A former Old Trafford man himself, Pique said:

‘We would be happy to have him (Pogba) here.

‘I know little about what he is going through in Manchester and the relationship that exists (between Mourinho and Pogba).

‘Pogba is a very good player, but a Manchester United player right now and we’ll see if something happens in the future.’
